This is a drawing of space.
I use a photo of a mouse and its shadow to create the area of the spaceship/rocket and an astronaut template from a book, marker for the outline and poster paints for the colours.

This is a drawing of fireworks at NAFA campus during National Day.
I used a 2B pencil to draw the NAFA campus, oil pastels and colourful ink to draw the fireworks and the background , poster paints for NAFA campus and details and lastly black marker and black pen for the NAFA logo and words.
Beside NAFA campus is Marina Bay Sands, Singapore Flyer and Gardens By The Bay.
It is a long weekend with 2 public holidays – labour day and Hari Raya Puasa. We have planned quite a few activities and here are some highlights.
I have given two kids a few options and let them to figure out where to go:
I have shown them a few options and showed them pictures too. In the end nobody is interested in zoo, nor duck tour. Nicole wanted to go Aquarium and Lucas insisted in Singapore Flyer. As usual a conflict between kids was resolved by paper scissor stone. And Nicole won.
Since we are going to Sentosa I decided we go by cable car this time. We bought tickets from Lazada and it’s a roundtrip skypass and much cheaper comparing to mount faber official site. And I bought aquarium tickets from there too. Almost same price as official website but I can use Lazada vouchers.
On 30th Apr Saturday we set off around lunch time and arrived Harbourfront station by MRT. Straightaway walk to 15th floor on Harbourfront Tower 2 and boarded cable car.
Cable car brought us to Sentosa Island. We alight at somewhere the old Merlion was at. Walked down to Sentosa Express nearby and took the monorail back one stop to Resort World Sentosa station, where S.E.A Aquarium is.
It was quite crowded as it’s the first day of long weekend. We still managed to see almost all parts in it. Kids are excited to see giant stingrays and sharks, beautify jellies, also ugly sea eels.
Also there is small area about rain forest and it has some colourful (poisonous!) frogs.
And after a late lunch (or early dinner) we headed back to main island by cable car again. In fact there is a nice top view for Aquarium from cable car, and we can see sharks and dolphins swimming from high.
We reached home around 6pm and were caught by heavy rain just before reaching. After that we were all exhausted and everyone just sleep straightaway. Wife and I had supper around midnight. Kids were only awakened at around 4am and had some light meal too before heading to bed again.
Exhausting day (but exciting)!
The theme of my artwork is called “Still Life Meets Picasso”. I used oil pastels to colour it. I have included three of the art elements – colour, value, and lines. I have also pasted eight pieces of paper – 4 pieces of colourful paper and 4 pieces of music scores. I have drawn my favourite instrument Guzheng (古筝) and cut it into 4 pieces. I have spent 5 days to complete one artwork!
This artwork is based on the tigers I drew during my art lessons. Some leaves of the oranges contains part of the art element — Value! This whole artwork also contains other art elements example like: colours, lines, shapes etc. I used colours: yellow, orange, yellow-green, white, red, gold, pink, black ink and Prussian blue.
This is my artwork called ‘The Colour Wheel’. I used almost five weeks to complete this artwork.
This artwork is based on warm and cool colours, primary colours, secondary colours, tertiary colours.
